Even the world’s rich and famous need some furry best friends to be a part of their family. My dog is one of the greatest loves of my life, but trust me, I’m sure I would feel the same way if he was a tortoise. It stands to reason that when choosing a companion, the world’s rich and famous would do that in the same way they do everything else, loud and attention grabbing. Sure the store has your standard goldfish, cats, dogs, maybe even the occasional ferret, but you won’t find a single singer, movie star or athlete in such an establishment. Instead they search for the more interesting breeds of the world, such as King Cobras, Octopi, and even Tigers…oh my. The cost and upkeep for these animals ranges up into tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, meaning that some of them choose to drop the equivalent of a house mortgage on an alpaca. Honestly I could criticize but if I had an alpaca I would give him the world as well.
