The Queen is addressing the Scottish Parliament at the opening ceremony of a new session, in which she is reading a speech written by herself. This year’s ceremony pays tribute to ‘local heroes’ chosen from across Scotland for the part they’ve played during the COVID-19 pandemic and their communities both locally and nationally.
