The Fruit That Significantly Lowers Blood Sugar Levels

Research points out that certain foods and drinks can actively lower glucose levels in the blood while others can raise it slightly.

In today’s video, you will find out which fruit significantly lowers blood sugar levels.

With type 1 diabetes, the pancreas doesn’t produce insulin, while type 2 diabetes sees the body cells become resistant to insulin.

This means that the body needs more insulin to keep normal glucose levels in the blood.

A study published in the International Journal of Pharma and Bio Sciences analyzed how eating this fruit everyday affected people who struggle to keep their blood sugar low.

The research investigated the effect of this fruit over fasting blood sugar (the glucose level after a night of fasting) and lipid levels (blood fat) in type 2 diabetic people.

The sugar and lipid levels were measured at the beginning of the study and after four weeks. After four weeks, the researchers noticed a “highly significant” drop in fasting blood sugar levels in all ages and sexes of the group.

And blood sugar levels were not the only thing that dropped. Bad cholesterol (LDL) and fat levels were also reduced. Isn’t it incredible?
