Britain cannot reach its goal of net zero carbon emissions without a significant investment in schemes to capture carbon and store it under the ground.
That’s the warning from the government’s climate watchdog, which told Sky News there’s no easy path to eliminate emissions if carbon capture technology doesn’t succeed.
