Minneapolis politicians have been testing the grounds for re-imaging policing for over a year now, since the passing of George Floyd. In fact, nine of the thirteen city council members voted to defund the police last summer…which resulted in DISASTROUS results. How disastrous? A recent report from TheBlaze.com details SEVERAL crime spikes in the area since 2019. But apparently Minneapolis leaders felt the failure, too…because they just voted to REFUND the police.
