Metropolitan Police ‘considering’ cash for honours allegations against Conservatives

This is the warning which has come from Downing Street after it emerged that a former Tory Conservative Cabinet minister earned hundreds of thousands of pounds, and spent weeks working as a lawyer in the Caribbean, while Parliament was sitting.

Sir Geoffrey Cox was advising the British Virgin Islands in a corruption probe being conducted by the British government.
