London has been the frontline of the Omicron crisis with huge numbers of infections, thousands of NHS and other public service staff off sick and now the military sent in to support overstretched hospitals.
But Professor Kevin Fenton, who is Public Health Regional Director for London, says there are glimmers of hope as data shows London may have passed, or be passing the peak of Omicron.
