Is America’s social revolution is coming to an end? (Full show)

Faran Fronczak takes a look at the elements of social revolutions wherever they occur and concludes that the US is in the midst of one, with upheaval in police departments, schools, workplaces, the erosion of gender segregation in sports and beyond, all amid wider income inequality, while Democrats seem to be walking back all the loftiest ambitions of its initial proposals to overhaul infrastructure. Virginia’s gubernatorial race is neck-in-neck, and a GOP victory would be an ominous blow to Democrats across the country. Would such a victory also mark the end of the “social justice” revolution that has so divided America?

Idaho state Rep. Barbara Ehardt (R) former athlete and basketball coach who authored controversial first-of-its-kind legislation to restrict the participation of trans athletes from competing with athletes of the gender they’re designated at birth, joins Reese Everson of the BLUSH Project to discuss ongoing efforts to integrate transgender athletes in the sports world.

Cop 26 is unfolding in Glasgow, Scotland. High-minded declarations to “stop treating nature like a toilet” and cease to “dig our own graves” have taken shape in the stated goal of net carbon neutrality by 2050 of every country. Numerous developing nations have joined forces to raise their objection to the goal, arguing that it will exacerbate existing inequalities between countries rich and poor and it is unfair to hold developing countries to the same time table as advanced countries. RT America’s John Huddy reports on the latest polls from gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey. Jaffer Khan of “Redacted Tonight” joins to discuss Judge Davenport of Rutherford, Tennessee, who sends kids as young as seven to jail and refers to herself as “the mother” of the county she terrorizes. The children she locks up, almost all of whom are Black, each enrich Rutherford’s profitable juvenile detention system.
