The World Health Organization’s Special Envoy on COVID-19, Dr David Nabarro says the COVID-19 report needs to be a learning lesson for the government to be better prepared for the next pandemic.
The scathing report from cross-party MPs reflects on the government’s actions in the lead up to and during the pandemic.
Dr Nabarro applauded the ‘cold hard look’ at the response and says now is not the time to assign blame but to be ready since COVID-19 has not gone away.
