With only four days left until the election, President Biden gave a primetime address in which he stressed the importance of this year’s midterm cycle and urged Americans to vote. While Democrats are warning voters that both Social Security and democracy are at stake in this election, Republicans are maintaining their focus on other issues such as the economy and crime. FOX News Sunday Host Shannon Bream joins the Rundown to discuss how the GOP is gaining momentum ahead of the midterms, the President’s speech, and how it could impact his potential bid for reelection.

The Utah Senate race has been one watched closely ahead of the 2022 midterm vote due to the fact that the contest is between a Republican incumbent and an Independent challenger. GOP Senator Mike Lee joined the podcast earlier to explain why Utah should remain red, and today his opponent Independent Evan McMullin joins the Rundown to share why he believes he has a winning coalition in Utah. He explains why as a conservative independent he is committed to working across party lines to get things done, how he will prioritize fiscal responsibility in the Senate, and why an Independent can best represent Utahns in Washington.
