Some states actually have PENALIZED citizens for using force to deter intruders from their homes. But Santa Rosa County, Florida Sheriff Bob Johnson feels quite differently: ‘[If] somebody is breaking into your house, they’re not giving you cookies or going to give you a hug. They’re coming in there to break more laws,’ he tells Glenn. So, he explains, residents not only should be legally allowed — but also should be ENCOURAGED — to properly use the means necessary to defend their homes.
