One of the solutions that he discovered from reading Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s “The Brothers Karamazov”, is simply learning how to be grateful. Gratitude for the benefits of living in the west must be practiced regularly. Without an appreciation or gratitude for the past and those that came before us we will constantly try to erase the past as the Tate Modern may be doing with its censoring of its Rex Whistler mural.
