The Russian Ambassador to the UK, Andrei Kelin, tells Sky news his country has “no intention” of invading Ukraine and it is NATO, not Russia, which is responsible for rising tensions.
Diplomatic talks have begun between America and Russia in Geneva in response to the 100,000 Russian troops that have been deployed on Ukraine’s border.
In an interview with Sky’s Dermot Murnaghan, Ambassador Kelin says NATO is responsible for “aggressive” and “offensive” actions in eastern Europe and that is what the troops are preparing to defend.
