Sixteen states just took a huge stand against big bank control: A coalition of state treasurers — led by West Virginia State Treasurer Riley Moore — say they’re ‘not going to take it anymore.’ The group’s recently released open letter to the ‘banking industry’ says they’ll stop conducting business with banks that boycott coal, oil, and gas investments. This is a HUGE step, Glenn says, because if we don’t stand against the terrifying partnership between big banks and big government, corporations will destroy us. But YOU can make a stand, too.
