Azeem Rafiq – the former cricketer who gave an account to MPs of the racism he endured at Yorkshire County Cricket Club this week – has apologised for making antisemitic remarks in 2011.
He said he was “ashamed” of messages he sent more than a decade ago when he was 19-years-old and apologised to the Jewish community.
