Police have maintained a heavy presence on the streets of Liverpool, as counter-terrorism officers investigate a car explosion outside a hospital which killed one person and injured another.
Three men – aged 29, 26, and 21 – have been arrested under the Terrorism Act in connection with the blast involving a taxi at Liverpool Women’s Hospital on Remembrance Sunday.
