Have you ever wondered what billionaires do for fun? What are the hobbies of the world’s richest people? Well, wonder no more because we’ve just found out. Jeff Bezos loves exploring the ocean’s depths for discarded NASA rockets, Elon Musk collects James Bond supercars, and Mark Zuckerberg spends a lot of time on his private island in Hawaii. Richard Branson loves hot air ballooning, while Larry Ellsion and Robert Kuok can’t get enough of their expensive yachts and sailboats.
Some billionaires have pretty eccentric hobbies– like impersonating celebrities on stage, breaking kitesurfing records, and trying out the flying trapeze. Others are more typical but incredibly expensive– think art collections worth billions of dollars and paying $250,000 country club fees to go golfing. Some hobbies, like Space Tourism, have only been enjoyed by a handful of billionaires, but companies like Blue Origin and Space Adventures are starting to make luxury space travel a real option for the world’s richest people.
Which of these billionaire hobbies do you think is the most expensive? Billionaires like Bill Gates and Jack Ma tend to enjoy slightly cheaper hobbies, while Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos might have the most expensive taste. Now the only question is– if you could do any of these things, which would you pick? And which billionaire would you ask to join you? Let’s explore how the world’s most successful people spend their down time and see if the world’s wealthiest really like to play as hard as they work.
